Queensland Compact
The Queensland Compact is a partnership agreement designed to guide the relationship between the non-profit community services sector and the Queensland Government to achieve better outcomes for Queenslanders.
This page acts as a platform for collaboration between the Community Sector and the State Government. It's purpose is to:
- maximise access to information about the Compact and Compact-related initiatives
- encourage dialogue between government agencies and sector organisations
- enable the sharing of experiences, ideas and good practice in relation to what it means to put the Compact into practice
- facilitate access to quality-assured research papers online
- facilitate access to information about Compact-related initiatives being undertaken at a national and international level.
The longer-term targeted outcomes are to:
- improve information sharing between government and the sector
- build stronger working relationships between government and the sector
- contribute to improved engagement by the sector in planning and policy.
Access the Compact Hub forum through the panel on the right.
Collaborative Documents; Research Papers; and a Calendar of Compact Forum Events will be added to this section of Community Door over the coming weeks.
